Welcome to the new Bloomington Chess Club site and forum. Feel free to post chess related messages and use this tool to share your views with other chess players.

Check out the famous chess players avatars I've created once you register for the forum. Let me know if I missed anyone. I probably did forget a few, but all the men champions are in (even Max Euwe) and I included two of the Polgar sisters. I even remembered challengers to the crown like Carl Schlechter!! Well, I like that era anyway. Forget about Janowsky or Bogojulgov. ;-)

I want to thank Juan for all the hard work he's put into this site, and into promoting and continuing the BCC.  Hopefully we can make this forum a vibrant part of our community in 2010!

How about Anderson, Philidor, Marshall, Fine, and Reshevsky for avatars?

You're right. I love Frank Marshall. He had some wacky ideas. I've included Andersen, Fine, Reshevsky, Marshall and Rubinstein.

You'll see that I used a photo of Pillsbury, which you are welcome to add to the avatar list.  Or maybe you can find a better one...
